The following terms outline your rights when purchasing indoor furniture from Hardyman Woodshop. It is our responsibility to provide you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations, please contact us.

Shipping & Delivery
​
Once your order is confirmed, you will have entered into a purchase contract with us. In the unlikely event of a pricing error or product unavailability, we will notify you. In such cases, you will not receive a confirmation email, and no contract will be formed.

We currently ship to mainland UK only, with additional shipping costs for deliveries to Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Before dispatch, all items undergo a thorough quality check to ensure they leave our workshop in perfect condition. Upon delivery, please inspect your furniture carefully and do not accept the item unless you are sure it has arrived undamaged. If an item is signed for and later found to be damaged, the courier will not assume liability.

To help keep your order safe in transit, we carefully package all furniture. If you need to return an order, it must be in its original condition and packaging. Please retain all packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase—if damage occurs, the courier will need to inspect the packaging.
For workshop collection, please email us before placing your order to avoid shipping fees.

Returns & Exchanges

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 24 hours of purchase by emailing us at hardymanwoodshop@gmail.com.

Please ensure you check all dimensions and product details before ordering. If you have any questions, contact us before making a purchase. If your item is damaged in transit, please retain the packaging, inspect it upon delivery, and send us photographs within 24 hours along with your order number. We will offer a replacement or free repair where applicable.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that furniture can be delivered to the intended space. If access issues prevent delivery and were not disclosed at the time of order, we will not be able to offer a refund.
​
For made-to-order items, cancellations or amendments can be made within 24 hours of purchase at no extra charge. After this period, we cannot issue refunds. Made-to-order, custom, or bespoke furniture may only be returned in the unlikely event of a fault. If an item is returned in poor condition, we reserve the right to deduct the loss in value from your refund.

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

Handmade Craftsmanship
​
All Hardyman Woodshop products are handmade from natural hardwoods, meaning each piece is unique. Variations in grain, color, knots, and markings are natural characteristics of wood and add to its charm.

We use high-quality, sustainably sourced hardwoods that have been dried to the correct moisture content. While rare, warping, shrinking, or slight movement can occur due to temperature and humidity changes. This is a natural property of wood and can often be rectified by adjusting room conditions.

Aftercare
​
To help your Hardyman Woodshop piece stand the test of time, we recommend annual maintenance. Each order includes an aftercare guide with tailored care instructions. The longevity of your piece will depend on use and upkeep, and we encourage you to follow our care recommendations to preserve its beauty.
